[DitV] Relationship coming for help

Hello

I did a search for this question and haven't been able to locate any thread talking about it, so here goes:

A friend of mine played DitV and complained that it was too easy to assign relationship dice to other Dogs and then team up and use the rule that says you can use relationship die when the person comes to help you (confusing thing: the first time the relation ship dice are explained the text only talks about their use in a conflict against or about the person, but later on this third use is listed, can't remember off the top of my head which page it's on, but I recall it's given in the form a) ... b) ... and c) ).

I understand this use as being restricted to represent the help offered by a character which doesn't actually partake in the conflict via the normal rules of multiple character conflict (whether it be to speed up resolution or to portray a minor help), but my friend got me doubting. What's your ruling, Vincent?

You're right.

Relationships with your fellow Dogs are still pretty handy.
