[Rogue] Looking for Playtesters + Games to Playtest

Hello -

I'm looking to both find playtesters for a game I'm working on, and find games that need playtesters.

First, I need playtesters for "Rogue", a game I posted here about some time ago. I need some fresh, blind playtesters, to take the game through its paces. A short pitch is:

In Rogue you play a character that survives by taking what he's owed in a fantastical city that you create. Whether you’re dueling your life-long nemesis or plundering a dragon’s forgotten horde, Rogue is a game about acquiring wealth you don’t deserve. It’s a game about living from Heist to Heist without worrying about what tomorrow will bring. Just open the lock, vault the windowsill, squeeze through the bars, and hit the Score before the guards arrive and you Take the Rap.

Playtesters are asked provide feedback in a few general areas as well as their basic impressions of the game (e.g. "was it fun or not and why?"). Pretty simple. Pretty casual. To learn more, check out http://idleintellectuals.com/ or send an email to: vercant at gmail dot com.

Second, I'm looking for anyone who has a game that needs playtesters. My current group and I have run ourselves through Pathfinder, Dogs, 3:16, S/lay W/Me, D&D 2nd, 3.0, 3.5 and 4E, Mouseguard, Shadowrun, GURPS, and I could go on. Point is, we're at the point where we want to read & play something new, but we're not picky about genre or style. If you're working on a game, or know of someone who is, please let me know.

If you're interested in either playtesting Rogue or have a game we can playtest, please contact me via PM or by emailing: vercant at gmail dot com.

Thanks!

I'll need to see if my group would be up for some playtesting, but I'd be interested if they are. I'm also currently looking for playtesters for my own game. I'll poke them and see if they're up for it.

There is a low-resolution version of Rogue available for review here: http://idleintellectuals.files.wordpress.com/2010/08/rogue-simple1.pdf.

Questions for playtesters are included in the playtest forward. Any additional feedback is always welcome, even if you didn't play a single game and just read part of the rules. Thanks for your interest, greyorm, Locke and others!

Sure, Maugh. Just send me a link or an email with your game attached and I'll try and get it played. Mine is linked above.
