"If your looking for a bit of Role- Playing action, then this is the place for you!

Experience the power of Role- playing like you've never witnessed before. All- new Races and Classes at your disposal, new enemies and monsters that lurk around every corner of the battlefield makes this a true RPG adventure you will never forget.

Come on and explore the new world of the Magi Chronicles. The Future... is NOW."

This was taken from the front page of my website. I am creating a new RPG, using the Dungeons & Dragons game as my guide to creating key elements of the game. The Magi Chronicles RPG is set in the future, where a war between a great civilization and a band of ruthless monsters takes place amongst a multitude of worlds. Both sides are in a brutal stalemate with each other, as their resources are pretty much equalized, though one side wishes to have more than what they currently have.

Every planet, every habitat, every possibility is explored in this game. You can play as an ordinary human, or harness the powers of the elements by becoming one of the Magi or any other race that can wield such powers.

Technology is rampant throughout the game. Vehicles, items, and whatnot. It exists in the worlds.

Mysterious powers known as the [glow=red,2,300]Elements[/glow] exists through the worlds as well. certain races have access to the mysteries and their various capabilities that they can unleash upon ally or enemy.

Finally, many worlds and galaxies exist that are waiting to be discovered. Whether you are head of the military, or are a solo traveler, there is plenty of opportunities for adventure.

Here are links to the websites which [will] have the game information: http://magichroniclesrpg.wikia.com/wiki/Magi_Chronicles_RPG_Wiki | http://magichronicles.webs.com/

Just as an important reminder, this game is currently under construction. Sorry if I made the wrong impression in here.

I am basically moving content from the Webs website into the Wikia and finishing the game info from where I left off.

Questions/ comments/ advice is welcome and encouraged :)  Construction will be a long and hard process for me, but hopefully I can pull it off. :)

May I ask why you are using "D&D" as a base to develop the rules from (which edition, BTW)? If you are using d20, is there any reason you are not using d20 Modern, d20 Mecha, or one of the other d20 OGLs made for modern and sci-fi settings?

Also, hopefully a helpful suggestion, if you run into any roadblocks, you might check out DragonStar (another science-fantasy game that is based on D&D) for inspiration on how they adapted the rules.

One reason why I am using D&D as my base is because:
1) I am more familiar with the mechanics that they use
2) I haven't played d20 Modern or Mecha

I am using both 3.5 and 4th edition and making certain elements work together. It's not like the game has both editions sandwiched together-- it's more like I'm taking certain elements and piecing them together like a puzzle to make the gameplay mechanics work.

I might go check out this "Dragonstar" game.
