Looking back on these two threads:

Courtney Crumrin & The Night Things

I choose you, Sorcerer

And I don't see a mini-supplement but see an RPG that is to Sorcerer as Mouse Guard is to Burning Wheel.

I just needed to get that thought out somewhere and this is the place for such things.

Judd,

I hear you.  My own design Thornes is like that.  I wanted a swashbuckling game with the fighting and emotional dynamics of Sorcerer without the demons.

Have you looked at Monsters and Other Childish Things?

Jesse

Hi Judd,

I have a copy of Monsters and Other Childish Things, plus one of its supplements, Candlewick Manor. It's pretty much exactly what you're describing.

However, I also want to say that I don't think Sorcerer needs a Mouseguard equivalent, at least not from Adept Press. It's worked out really well for Luke, and it's a beautiful piece of work, but it's not my direction as a publisher. If someone else were to work out something like that for Sorcerer, though, then more power to them.

Best, Ron
