Are there any miniature series, either 3D plastic pieces, or PDF cardboard printouts, that are well-suited to the setting?

I have some tiff., pdf,, and bmp files of Roman and fantasy bronze age figures.  Not exactly what you are looking for.  But I will email them to you.

Hi Erik!

Would you mind sending them my way as well? I'll be running Agon at Hammercon.

Hi there,

I have only just found Agon after reading about it on the Ars Ludi blog, and immediately set about trying to find some suitable miniatures. Here's what I came up with:

Spartan Games

Very large scale compared to your usual miniatures, but they seem to be perfect range.

Wargames Foundry:
http://wargamesfoundry.com/historical_ranges/single_packs/ancients/greek_-_mythology/
A sizeable range of Greek Heroes, plus the Minotaur and Medusa. They've also got a huge range of historical Greek figures, like such packs as:

http://wargamesfoundry.com/historical_ranges/single_packs/ancients/greek_-_spartan/spartan_officers_wg041/

Wargames Factory
http://www.wargamesfactory.com/announcements/unveiling-the-legacy-of-the-greeks
These guys are working on some multipart plastic sets for Amazons and Persians, and I'm sure Hoplite sets will be coming.

Immortal Miniatures
http://www.immortalminiatures.com/
Lots of plastic miniature boxes for Greeks and Persians.

Reaper Miniatures
http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/Greek
Only a handful of suitable miniatures, but worth a mention. Also they've got loads of skeletons which might be useful.

I hope these help!

Robert
