[Tales of Hepian] Names for Machines
I am making a Steam Punk Themed table top RPG and I have been having one heck of a time trying to come up with better names for machines. Especially for this one part of the plot I have been working on. So, I am trying to come up with a list of about 12 machines to put on a list for players to investigate. I have come up with two so far. I am trying to limit myself in the game to mainly steam power, clock work mechanics, and "simple" (Edison-esque or Tesla-esque) electronics and there's no magic use in the game. Also, these 12 mechanical devices are aiding a brain to live without a body. I was just wondering if anyone had good ideas for names of machines that could fit the criteria. Descriptions aren't really needed, but if you wish to provide one that's cool.
The two machines I have come up with are:
Linguistic Sound Wave Converter
Automatic Multiphase Electric Pulse Input Amplifier

I'm assuming the machines are only supposed to sound like they could actually work, but the physics are absolutely terrible? If that's the case, here are my suggestions.
Bose Machina - Freezes shit.
Alternating Current Electromagnetic Lattice Generator - Force Field
Pressurized Gear Exoskeleton - Clockwork strength suit, with compressed air tanks to power it.

Thanks for the reply and I will consider these options as I make names for the 10 other machines.

Who would be naming them? Things don't just have names that spring into existance from nothing.
Consider what would be naming them, their own attitudes, and if it's human, how they start using a slang version of the name after awhile.
