Playtesters Wanted - Death Frenzy: Chambara RPG
I've been working on a card-based RPG for some time tentatively called 'Death Frenzy' (this is a working title that will likely change).
Death Frenzy is based on Japanese period films like Seven Samurai and Lone Wolf and Cub. It is comprised of two systems - a narrative system for role-playing and a combat system. The game is designed in such a way that the two systems can operate as stand-alone games or as a combined system.
The combat system is currently in playtest and I'm trying to recruit interested gamers to help refine the rules.
The playtest document is a print-and-play .pdf.
If you're interested, contact me at musashi@yellow-menace.com. My game dev website is at: http://oneinchpunchgames.com/ Details on the game's progress will be posted there.
Thanks!

Hello and welcome!
I am very sad to say that I am editing your post to change the image to a link, because I like that image a lot. It's because image-posting has a tendency to escalate and so there's none allowed to start at this site.
Also, in a day or two, I will shift this thread into the Connections forum where it fits better. That will help you get more responses, I think.
And finally, count me in as an interested consumer. I like ths sort of game a lot and am interested in your description of the two systems; that's a tricky design goal but for this genre, I think it might be quite effective.
Best, Ron
