Character Flavor
My Minion for our upcoming game is and actor/playwrite who was stabbed in the head during a performance of Hamlet. The injury rendering him unable to speak properly, but like many brain injuries there is a mysterious side effect. THough he can not speak more than a couple words understandably in most situations Gideon can quote shakespeare eliquently.
Anyway, I've been doing some game prep and found a lot of cool Shakespearean quotes to use in the game sessions. Paul suggested that I post some of them. I'll just list a few that seem fitting to the game as a whole. Most of the one's I have are story specific or character specific.
I am a tainted wether of the flock,
Meetest for death: the weakest kind of fruit
Drops earliest to the ground.
-The Merchant of Venice. Act iv. Sc. 1.
Service is no heritage.
-Alls Well That Ends Well. Act. i Sc. 3.
Every man has his fault.
-Timon of Athens. Act. iii Sc. 1.
So weary with disasters, tugg'd with fortune,
That I would set my life on any chance,
To mend it, or be rid on't.
-Macbeth. Act iii. Sc. 2.
We can not all be masters, nor all masters
Cannot be truly follow'd
-Othello. Act. i Sc. 1.
Weariness
Can snore upon the flint, when resty sloth
Finds the down pillow hard.
-Cymbeline. Act iii. Sc. 6.
My nature is subdu'd
To what it works in, like the dyer's hand.
-Sonnet cxi

A quick question, Matt. I like the concept for his Less Than Human trait. What motivated you to take this one particularly?

I'm not sure. I guess it's a combination of having an english degree and the game being set in a theater.

You just thought it would be cool to get to fling Shakespeare about, then? Given the setting context?
