Is today still the submission deadline? How tardy can I be on this one?

Just as an update, I'll be sending RONIN to Matt today for approval.

How did I miss this thread?
Anyway, what's happened is that I haven't really gotten enough articles for an issue. At this point, I'm not sure what's happening. If I get enough articles by October 1, I'm going to go ahead with the project. If not, then I'll most likely scrap it, permanently this time.

Ok, then I have two points.
First, Blair's got my a-OK for Ronin, which is great.
Second, is that my deepest apologies for not getting an article to ya' already. I got about 15 excuses, most of which are "Fuck, I'm busy!" Another is that I changed course after lack of any good inspiration for Pale Riders, and started working on Deathwish, a kind of James Bond edition of Dust Devils. I'll keep hammering away, but I frankly can't give any ETA.

How many do you have, what sort are they, what type of columns are missing, how many do you want before you have "enough"...

So what's the story?
I know a guy who's done some stuff for Orkworld. I can put him touch with you if you're still interested...

As for finished articles: yours. Seriously, that's all.
As for articles that have been talked about:
Jake's angel version of Paladin
Zak's Paladin: Inquisitor (both can't be in the same issue)
An octaNe adventure by Todd Luikart
That's about it.

Hmmm....not exactly having trouble figuring out what to cut for lack of space are we...
Does it HAVE to be done as an "issue"?
IIRC each article was going to stand alone for purposes of downloading and compensation anyway.
So...does it need to be in a magazine framework...or can it be in a broader...here's a site for resouces framework.
Just brainstorming here since I'm not sure what your hoped for vision looked like exactly.

Did you not receive my .doc of RONIN for Dust Devils? I sent it out to you a while ago.

I did. Remember - I'm on the West Coast here, people. It's only 10:30 - I've only had two cups of coffee so far.
Ralph - you bring up an interesting topic. I've been thinking about doing RPGevolution a bit differently where it's basically the article system for The Forge. Anyone could submit an article and they'd go up in chronological order after approval, much like Slashdot or Gaming Report or that sort of site.
