Time For A Reboot
Hello everyone,
For my own sake and for any of you interested out there, I am going to plop a down a list of current projects, with links and ramblings and so on. This is just so everyone knows what is going on, and I know what is going on. Yeehaw. :)
Eldritch Ass Kicking RPG
http://www.eldritchasskicking.com/
The game has done really well in my opinion. It has sold fine online (especially without me having all the time in the world to support it and pump it) and has received two great reviews. I am sending off the check Tuesday (tomorrow) for the artwork by the great Tom Weighill. The next version will then be finally going forward for a mid-December release (or sooner) with layout by Brett Bernstein of PI Games. I'm stoked. I am also going to get some new material slipped in and on the website. I might even do a bit of a site redesign with updated links. I've even got a WINDOWS and MAC character generator coming nigh. It's almost done. (It includes an NPC generator and a GM mode.) EAK is fun. I hope to support it more locally in months ahead with demos at Oklahoma cons/gamedays.
Actionroll.Com

The site continues to gain steam with new registrations and content. Articles have been slow going lately, but I've been enjoyed the ones submitted. Hosting is fine, although I've been a little lax in getting new folks setup. It seems like the hosting has not been a problem, so I should be accepting more folks in future months. I really want to see the Online Book Collaboration features kick into high gear, because it seems like the best aspect of the site software. Fun. Beyond that, it is going as well as I would guess it would go.
The Cross RPG
http://www.mysticages.com/theCross
The Cross is/was my attempt at a Christian RPG. I still have hopes for it, and in fact, I did put together a final version as a Paladin subset. Alas and alack -- during my last hard drive reformat, I think I lost it. (Clinton, did you get the copy I sent you? If so, could you send it back?) It had some benefits as a Paladin setting. I still have the old RTF version here somewhere. I don't know if I have firm plans for it yet.
Snowycrag (D20)
http://www.mysticages.com/snowycrag
Yeehaw. Snowycrag is just a simple generic sort of fantasy setting. I had plans to toss D20 stats into it, and I never got around to it. I will at some point and call the little project CLOSED. I've gotten a couple of comments on it, so we'll see.
Cinema 2-10 Action System
http://www.mysticages.com/cinema2-10
This is my own little house system. It powers Eldritch and numerous other projects I am working on. I like it because it is very flexible and that is my intent with a universal system site for it. Luckily, though, it is going to change names, and the site is getting an overhaul. The system will now be called "2d10 Action System". I will have an A-Z listing of add-ons and modifications as well as the core rules document up. At some point, I may even sell a CD-ROM compilation of the system with several settings for like $5-10. I'm stoked about this, because the system is really pretty nifty - simpe but nifty.
Rodendom
http://www.mysticages.com/Rodendom
I've been working a lot on this game lately. I want to get it out before Christmas, but we'll see how that goes. I've got a layout going and even a first draft PDF with rules coming together. I was thinking about putting the game together in a strange way - with flavor text on the left column and game rules on the right column. As something came up in the story, rules to describe it would be on the right. But....... It would be confusing to do it that way, I think. I may still do this to a degree - but do the story on the left and then setting info on the right. We'll see. I was hoping to hand illustrate it, but I suck at drawing. :) I still love the simple concept behind the game - and I might need to watch Secret of NIMH again soon.
Army of Judgement
http://www.mysticages.com/aoj
I've promised to get this one near done pretty soon as well. The content is already there - I've had it written for years. I just need to port it to PI Games' Action Exploits Diceless system and run with it. I just need to convert the powers over and archetypes and things. At some later time, I may even do a D20 version. I have a D20 character class already done for it, but the idea of going through and redoing the powers into some sort of D20 form makes me cringe. No fun. We'll see.
These are the essential projects, not mentioning the Kingdom of Glenn, the Hunt for the Dawn, or Edena. I hadn't even mentioned Foreign Elements.
Hope everyone has a good Thanksgiving holiday...
Thanks,
Nathan Hill

New Era
Any more stuff being done on New Era? That sounds kind of cool, in a "Cast A Deadly Spell" kind of way.

Re: New Era
New Era is still in limbo, though GraveyardGreg and I have had many talks about getting it going again. I have a bit of a rough draft going with it, but it is quite different than Greg's vision for the game. I even have permission from Atlas Games to use the Over the Edge system for it. I am currently busy getting Eldritch Ass Kicking revised, so I haven't really spent much time with it.
Thanks for the question.
Thanks,
