I got my packet for GenCon 2003 today. The floor space is fucking huge.

Anyway, I'm not sure what sort of booth the Forge/Adept Press/Key 20 wants, but I'm guessing the 'endcap' booth is our best bet. It's 10x20 feet, and is two booths at the end of a row. The prices are crazy, though: $2400 for an endcap. (It's $4750 for the next-best booth, a 4-booth endcap, which they call a peninsula.)

We've got a while to think about it, but we might as well discuss things when you guys get your packets.

Jesus, if I get a packet. Last year it was like pulling the Easter Bunny out of Santa's ass to get my packet.

But yeah, I can't wait to see the floorplan.

Jason,

I can describe the floorplan pretty easy. Remember Milwaukee, with the Wizards castle in the middle? Look at that and then add another convention hall to the back of that. That's the new floorplan. I don't know how they're going to fill that many spaces at their current rates, but it'll be huge.

Hello,

Money is going to be a problem. Both Adept Press and Driftwood Publishing, for instance, are experiencing shortfalls due to three-tier shenanigans (not sales problems).

What the hell is up with those prices?

Best,
Ron
