So ...

1) there are these dolphin-like beings who transform, slowly, into land-dwelling human-like beings. It's a one-way process, although its rate can vary and sometimes it doesn't happen.

2) they are very loving, positive creatures, who feel strongly about everything.

3) priorities of living underwater and priorities of living on-land are very, very different and sometimes incompatible.

I'm tossing it out to you just to enjoy low-pressure, not-gonna-publish, probably-not-finish game design. It's been a while since we did that.
