Hi all, I was hoping to get some feedback on the latest addition to Wayfarer's Song.

For those who are not familiar with the game, it is Saxon-Norse, folklorish, magical, darkish, fantasy game in which I've played around with the idea of 'modular' rules for character races.

Basically, I have laid out some core rules, and am now in the process of presenting each player 'race' in an entirely different rules book. This way Duergar (dwarves) are as different to Mortal Men, as for example Vampires are to Werewolves in WW.

Anyway, I've just posted the Duergar Kithbook, and I am basically wondering: how it looks, does it make sense, and do the Duergar stand out enough from the Mortal Men, in terms of magic, culture, society and general 'feel'?

I am still in the planning stage for the rules for Aelfan and Ettin.

As always, I'm keen for any and all feedback

Chris

I remember reading over your Kithbook while it was still in draft form.
This seems to be an excellent expansion on that version: the Duergar are very flavorful, Norse, mythological. They certainly don't look like Men to me, though I haven't read that Kithbook.
