Trollbabe: third comics story starts up today

Hi there,

Trollbabe Comics moves into its third story, The Birthroot Bargain, written by me and illustrated by Ed Heil. (the text on the webpage is getting fixed to reflect that; details, details)

Rod's story, The Green Goo Feud, should be available in its entirety on the indie-rpgs server soon.

All comments on the Feud story and on the first strip of the current one are welcome!

Best,
Ron

Two episodes in, I'm liking this one quite a bit. The art has a rough quality to it (not "rough" as in "lack of training", but "rough" as in "barbaric"--does that make sense?) that adds to the creepiness of the Trollbabe magic in this storyline.

All right!!

Thanks to the efforts of Super-Clinton, all Trollbabe stories are now available from the website!

Yes! That means that you too can visit the Trollbabe comics page and see the last three strips published, as well as all completed stories to date.

No more whining! The only strips you're "missing" are the ones between two weeks ago and the last completed story.

Best,
Ron

Looking good. I like this layout much better than the original. Strips done horizontally always look better when there's nothing left or right to compete with them.

I completely enjoyed Rod Anderson's work on "The Green Goo Feud" story. His lines are expressive but clear. Nice cartooning, especially on the scenes of villagers.

The new tale is looking really sharp too. I was interested in seeing how other artists' interpreted your characters and I think Ed Heil and Rod both have wroght wonderful Trollbabes. Nice size, good proportions by comparison, and still fun!

As time goes on, this comic will develop a stronger and stronger identity as these characters grow in our minds. I think that's an important ingredient for the success of an episodic strip.

Coolness.
