Howdy all--
So, I was looking at booth photos from the '02 con and trying to construct a mental image of what mine will look like this year. I'm after Ye Standard 10 x 10 corner booth, and I've never been to GenCon.
Am I correct in inferring that when I arrive on Wednesday to start setting up, the space will have two sides opening on aisles and two sides where curtains form "back walls?" That each space is set off in its own little world, sorta?
I might have other questions as they occur to me.
Cheers and best,
SL

You are correct, sir.

Hello,
Correct ... with provisos. The first one is that the side boundaries for most booths are waist-high, so you can see your neighbors, as well as most of the other booths in the vicinity. Sometimes people construct stand-ups or wall-barriers or similar which block the cross-booth views, but not too commonly.
The second one is that people construct their booth depths differently, such that some cannot be entered - the passersby remain in the common aisle - and such that some are little-walk-in spaces.
Best,
Ron

Ron, Jason, I would have responded similarly. But that's based on my experience with GenCon at the Midwest Express Center. Can you assure us that it will be the same set up in Indy, or are you just assuming?
Also, in some cases the "wall" curtains are higher than waist high, actually creating a full wall. Is this something that has to be ordered specifically? Does it cost extra for either option?
Hell, while we're at it, do you know what color the "walls" will be in Indy?

Actually, Mike, all those questions should have answers in the exhibitor pack (I didn't really pay too much attention this year as Key 20 won't have a booth). They usually detail the colors, set-up, etc.

Want something done...
For people who want to see the packet (like me), apparently anyone can download it here:
http://www.gencon.com/display.aspx?file=indy-exhibitors
Descriptions start page 5.
