Supplements
Ok, two thing i was wondering.
First, Besides the core rule book, TFOB, and the monster book, what other supplements or books or whatever will be coming out sometime in the future that you can tell us about?
Second, i was just wondering what, if any, specific sources or existing games you got some ideas from as far as Weayrth(sp?) is concerned.

First,
One thing at a time. We're fighting enough to get those supplements out as it is. We are also planning Sorcery and the Fey, possibly now as 2 separate PDFs that will later be combined for print purposes.
Second,
Weyrth's influences are mostly the history of less-known european nations (especially eastern europe and the balkans). I suppose WFRP and 7th sea both influenced it a little bit, but not much. The big economic section was inspired by Saga o Wiedzminie, a Polish fantasy series that revolves around economics and politics in a fantasy world. Other big inspirations are the "Trilogy" by Henryk Sienkiewicz (With Fire and Sword, The Deluge, Fire on the Steppe), early Conan stories, Grimm's Fairy Tales (original versions), Tolkien (who can't claim this?), and all those crusty old fencing manuals. Pendragon, as a game, was a big influence on some elements of Weyrth, too.

Lesser known European nations? Aww man, I'm gonna re-draw the Weyrth map now and make a little country called "Trakia" or something and make its history all like Bulgaria's...
LOL, the nation that gets stomped on by all the nations around it but the people still think they are better than all the people of the nations around them!

RE: Supplements
I've heard that there is a list somewhere that says what earth nationalities roughly conform to Wayreth countries, but I can't find it. Does anyone have a link?

RE: Supplements
It's actually here in the forum somewhere. Do a search.
In fact, when you find it, let me know what thread it is and I'll add it into the links sticky at the top of the forum.
Brian.

Found it. I looked before to no avail, but used the wrong approach. It popped right up when I looked for a thread with France, Germany, Russia, and Hungary in it.
