desperately seeking art
I just finished my most recent revision of my game, Kathanaksaya (many thanks to John Kim for using that space). As you can see, the presentation is rather bland. I would eventually like to publish my own web site for the game, which will be a non-profit endeavor to make it available to others.
As for artwork and backgrounds, I don't have much in the way of demands. I would like them to be interesting and to enhance the ideas behind the game (One of the implicit themes is boundless possibility). I hope to have the images suppliment the content of the game rather than replace it. I would like for the images to be easily accessible for low-bandwidth and low-speed internet connections. I am defintely willing to sacrifice for size to make this possible.
If at all possible, it would be great to have art that depicts the examples of play. If anyone is interested in creating art to accomplish this end, that would be fantastic (but not necessary). If I like what you have, I would certainly give you credit for your work, maybe linking to your own website if desired.
I am not in a real hurry to get things done, so if you need time, that is OK.
Thanks.

I'm not sure exactly what kind of artwork you would like, and I don't have much of my own material up at the moment (I'm in the process of redesigning my website,) but you can check out the image on my main page and the Troubs page and tell me if this is more or less the style you are looking for.
I can vary this style quite a bit. for example, this doorway image is test art for the Nag Hammadi/gnostic rpg I am working on.
if you want another example, I mostly do my artwork in the form of animation, such as this music video. there are some glitches in it, but it gives an idea of what I do with 3d modeling... apply the techniques I used on the doorway image and you wind up with something that looks a lot less rendered.

The color landscapes are pretty nice. I'm not sure if I'd use them as background or as pictures that show the variety of landscapes possible, but they are definitely something I'd consider.
