Wouldn't a TROS card game help bring more players into the game and even be helpful as a game tool with regards to running combat?

It certainly would. We'd love to see one, but they are also very expensive to produce. VERY.

Production, as in design or production as in manufacturing?

Printing THOUSANDS and TENS OF THOUSANDS of cards.

And that's not to mention the incredible number of man-hours that have to go into development, balance testing etc.

Not cheap. And frankly, most new card games that come out do well for a short period of time and then fade into obscurity. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of CCG manufacturers barely break even.

Brian.

Plus art is probably the most expensive thing in-production, and cards need lots of it...an image for every card, and I would want quality art, meaning about $100 per image.
