Alright I am more of a concept guy. I'll come up with ideas, and even meat to go with them. I am not really good at important bits and up untill now I didn't even consider layout to be something that is remotly important. Apparently it is as evidenced by this rpg.net thread:

http://forum.rpg.net/showthread.php?s=e68e584bcb9ba2510bfaa88390124f15&threadid=81231&perpage=10&pagenumber=1

as well as numerouse reveiws and comments Ive seen wandering around game reveiws. So I think it would be useful if we put our heads together and come up with an idea layout for rpgs, or maybe even article something up about it. After all many people find it very important, and it apparently works on several diffrent almost unoticable levels. I think it would be usegul to come up with a set of guidelines so that not only are our layouts not horrbile but they are actualy good. I know there are many free resouces around on the web, but I find it difficult to acertain which would be useful for an rpg book or not. That and the forge is such an important souce of information we might as well make it a bit more complete.

Hi Comte,

Check out the Organizing text thread, which is full of excellent references and resources.

A few searches and thread-title browsing in this forum will yield a few more such threads as well.

Best,
Ron
