And lets not forget Philcon the weekend of December 12th :)
Ubercon was great. Luke and I have found that stuff sell by playing. All you have to do if find folk to run and play and your almost guarenteed sales.
My next Forge purchase is Universalis. I think I am about ready to run FVLMINATA and My Life with Master. Although I am a dedicated BW groupy I can be convinced to run other stuff.
I hope to play Sorcerer for the first time at Lollagazebo, this weekend.

Ubercon response (split)
Hello,
I split the above post from After Ubercon report for the Forge.
It's all good news, and have a good time at the con - but 'ware of posting to older threads, OK? Check out the guidelines posted at the top of the Site Discussion forum.
Best,
Ron

uh, I am confused. I assume in the guidelines you are referring to the following statement:
F. Thread "resurrection"
If you find an older thread (not on the first page of the forum) that you wish to discuss, we ask that you create a new thread and link to the old one instead of "resurrecting" the thread. This helps everyone in terms of researching threads, and seeing where a discussion started and stopped.
The thread I posted to is only 16 days old and IS on the first page of the forum. Is there another definition of "older thread" you have posted elsewhere I should be informed of?
Besides, in a response to a thread barely three weeks old my statement not only has absolutely no relavence without reading the former posts (only one entry long) but forces a user to then look around for another relavent post which seems to contradict the idea of "This helps everyone in terms of researching threads, and seeing where a discussion started and stopped."
But hey, your the boss. :)

That was my mistake, actually: I mis-read the dates. I apologize for the im-moderation.
Let's carry on, though - as it turns out, Luke and I actually had a conversation very recently about you. Yes! This is true. So it's good to see you here.
I'm interested in hearing someone else describe the power of "sell through playing." I based my initial thoughts about it on watching the CCG guys sell their stuff like gangbusters at conventions, all on the strength of playing a couple of hands of their games right there at the booth.
In your view, what sort of demos work best? What's the most effective ratio of time-per-demo to sales?
Best,
Ron
