Noah Matthew Ben-Ezra was born on January 25 at 1:54 p.m. He weighed 9 lbs. and was 21 inches long. Mother and baby are both doing well.

If you're interested in pictures, PM me and I'll send some your way.

(For those of you keeping track at home, this is child four.)

Whoo-hoo! Welcome to the club, Seth! And congratulations!

(We found the addition of our fourth seemed to add disproportionally more "insanity" to life than did the additon of the third! So here's to all the fun!)

Actually, we found it was the odd numbers that did us in.

The first suddenly means you have to account for what you're going to do with a child whenever you want to do anything unusual.

The third, as friends of ours who stopped at three (in three years) warned us, means that you're outnumbered.

The next big change came with the fifth: we were out of hands, and had either to enforce them holding each other's hands or trust one of them to stay with us without such connection.
