Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that the rules on Mounted Combat, either in the Main Rulebook or in the Of Beasts and Men supplement stated that one of the bonuses of being on horseback was that the attacker used the ST of the mount instead of his own when calculating the damage. I've been through both rulebooks now and can't find it anywhere. Did I just dream this up or can someone please point me in the right direction?

Don't know the exact page, but I think it's in the appendix of the Main Rulebook. The special notes on the lances says that you can use the mount's ST instead of your own.

The Notes for both the Heavy and the Light Lances, Thanks Joakim. For some reason I was thinking that Brian Leybourne had mentioned in one of his posts that that was true for all attacks from horseback, but the OBaM doesn't support that recollection and this makes more sense to me. Anyway, thanks again.

Not for all attacks though. You get to use the horses Strength when:

a) you're making the horse make the attack (rearing, kicking, etc). Under that section it mentions using the horse's strength.

b) you're charging with a lance. It mentions that under the lances section.

So it should be pretty much covered :-)

Brian.
