Crowds and Power
«

Say I have a gang of four armed men. I get the group stat, trait and relationship dice rules in the NPC chapter, no problem. But how many gun dice should I give them? Each has a gun, a plain ol' gun. Do I give the group 1d4+1d6, or 4d4+4d6?
Group-conflicts and multiple belongings is my general question: guns, knives, pointed sticks, bananas.
Thanks,
Jim

I think I'd just give the gang 1d6+1d4 for the gun. But it depends on how menacing you want the gang to be.

I've been thinking about asking that very question for the longest time.
I'm inclined to think 4 guns, 4d6+4d4. But I'm very curious to know Vincent's intent.

1d6+1d4 every time they use a new gun, of course!
If I raise "remember the big guy by the door? He shoots you," that's 1d6+1d4. If I raise "all four of them pull out their guns and start blasting away," though, that's 4d6+4d4.

Come on, Fred, didn't you ever see the Addams Family movie? <g>
Vincent: thank you.
Best,
