The Riddle Of Time Management?

Hi all, I'm afraid I have some bad news. As some of you know, I was working on a character generator for TRoS. I was going to call it the Chargen Of Steel... heh.
Unfortunately, I've been working on other (job-related) programming projects and simply don't have the time to devote to it. I've been hoping to get back to it for months now, but I just can't make time for it. Perhaps in the future I can pick it back up and finish it.
I wanted to post this here in case there was some other programmer who decided not to make a character generator because someone else was working on it. Also, if there were any people looking forward to it, I thought I should let them know it won't be coming from me any time soon.
I
do
hope to finish it some day, but I know it won't be in the near future, if ever. Sorry....

Actually, I'm about half way through one :-)
Unfortunately, time is also a problem, but I hope to get it finished by the end of the year.
Brian.

I don't know how much headway you'd made, but perhaps you could make available what you had so far? What were you programming in?

I was working with C++ Builder 3. I actually don't have the code handy. It's on my old computer which is currently down for maintainence - indefinately....
I didn't really get much accomplished, mostly work on the user interface. The real meat of the code is still undone. I don't think the code would be of much use to anyone, to tell the truth. If someone has access to C++ Builder, then contact me an let me know, I'll see what I can do.

I got the briefest start on a Chargen of Steel before other things caught me up. And my Visual Basic skillz have deteriorated.
But let me finish my C++ course and I'll be on my way to putting one out pretty quick, actually.
I generally have a lot of free time on break...
