Where did delete post run off to?
Shouldn't you be able to delete during the time you can edit?

I had major mouse slippage and ended up repeating myself in this thread.

Some people were abusing "delete post," deleting posts they'd made an hour ago, for example.

Does that really make a difference if you can just edit the post down to nothing?.  I suppose it leaves something behind to prove you were there.

I suppose it doesn't make too much of a difference to me...I don't mind putting [duplicate] or [cross post] if you don't.

If a person wants to delete a duplicate post or anything of that sort, then he or she needs to ask me or Clinton through private message.
