I just bought hans talhoffers manual off of amazon used for dirt cheap and I was planning on using it to study great sword and rondel while away from the arma group in provo but I found that it was extremely useful in game terms for showing an illustration of what some of the maneuvers and techniques actually look like. One of my players found the grappling plates to illustrate precisely what an offensive grapple, setup grapple and grapple to trap were.

If you want a quick and easy supplement to playing I recomend the 10-15 bucks US for a copy of the Talhoffer or similar manual.

Just my 2 cents.
