Just wondering if we could do a roll call for all board members, basically state where you are currently playing TROS. I am curious to see how far and wide the game has spread. (Germany, finnland, NZ, Brasil... etc)

-Myself: Washington DC area (NO. VA).
Philosophy: Take whatever is not nailed down, for the rest, well thats what movement is for!

It seems TROS has spread as far as most other RPGs. I have yet to talk to a German role-player who has heard of the game. This is not surprising, since I discovered TROS only by reading through tons of threads and reviews at RPG.net, again and again stumbling over remarks like: "The perfect system for X? Sure, that would be TROS", which is something most players I know don't do.

Maybe it's time to call for crusade, to bring the infidels to the light of the Riddle. :)
Battle? There is always a desire for breathing space motivating it somewhere.

I just began a game yesterday with chargen and two duels.

You can indicate your whereabouts with your Profile (editable in the link at the top of the page). As mine says, I play in the Milwaukee area. Tho, I have to admit to only having played a bit. Did a demo for some new players about a week ago, for instance; but not sure they'll play (I run a lot of good games).

New Zealand, like the profile says. Oh, and I know for a fact that it's made it to Australia as well.

Spartan

I'm (as can be seen) in Calgary.  The FLGS here stocks nearly every rpg under the sun, and they got TROS in after I told them about it.  I've told my friends back in Nova Scotia about TROS, so we'll see if it spreads there, too. :)

And remember kids... Pillage first, THEN burn.

Draigh

I've helped develop a pretty decent TROS community here in western North Carolina, USA.
Drink to the dead all you, still alive.
We shall join them, in good time.

Rattlehead

I'm here in Western NC with Draigh. TROS is certainly growing in our area....

Realism in a melee game is not a matter of critical hit charts, but rather the ability to impart upon the player the dynamism of combat.

So far I know of two, possibly three people who own a copy here in Calgary.

Say, Mark, did Mike pick one up yet? I think Keith might as well, but don't know about anybody else.

PS: I am going to be loading my (old)laptop with a copy of the CharGen, CombatSim and those nifty digital hit/damage tables for ease of use during games, etc.

I'm in Helsinki, Finland. I'm trying to find people to start a campaign with with varying success.

I'm in western NC with Rattlehead. . . he's my hubby :-). Matter of fact, I played my first game of TROS tonight. Not sure how much I like it yet, though. . .

I'm in Norway, I'm helping spreading the Riddle - I made the games shop in Oslo order copies of the game, and I'm currently preparing tomorrow's session :)

Huntsville, Virginia?  Awesome!  Lets get a Virginia group together at the Patriot Game convention in Richmond and play!
