More superheroes stuff that I nearly forgot to post!

Right before beddy-byes last night I had an idea and I told myself "don't forget this!" Of course I forgot it for a few hours but it's back in my head so I'm writing it down here!

(This was actually spurned on from an RPGnet post about numbering game sessions.)

The first game equals the "first issue" (ie: #1). At the end of the game, each player is given one point. At the end of the second game (#2), each player is given two points, and so on and so forth.

Points can be used during the game (metagame stuff, no surprises there) -or- can be used to skip over an issue (jumping from game #12 to game #15, for example). By doing this, the players can spend their points to dictate what has happened in the "lost time".

Spending X number of points allows the players to play a "Giant-Sized Annual" game that is completely out of the normal timeline (continuity be damned!). In this kind of game they can completely shift the tone of the series, do weird crossovers or even die.
