A supplement?!  I was surprised to see this appear out of the blue on IPR.  It says that it's a demonstration of how to do storylines in Capes.

Does anyone have it?  Or have more info? It's pretty cheap, only $10 - although IPR's outrageous shipping almost double the total price.

It's the codified version of a convention scenario that I've been running since I figured out how to do scenarios in Capes.  It's got a whole passel of charactes with interlocking drives and exemplar goals, which set people up to create a desperate fight against an invasion from ... well, another earth.

Mostly seems to pitch people toward discussions of patriotism, who they defend and why, and the limits of rebellion ... but it's, y'know, Capes so I've also seen the scenario generate discussion of the Magical Fairy rulers of the fictional realm of Paraguay.

This sounds great, Tony, thanks for the added details. I've been hoping to do Capes at an up coming con, so this will go on my must buy list.

When you get the purchase, make sure to drop me an email, and I'll get you the 8.5x11" formatted versions of the character sheets ... they each fit on a single page (rather than 2 9x6" pages), which makes them ultra-convenient for handing out at cons.

Will this be available as a .pdf any time soon?

TonyLB

Standalone?  No.  It's a cheap product, but a hefty download (the art is high resolution, and there's a pretty fair chunk of it).

For folks who buy the paper copy, I'll be working up a PDF supplement that comes with it, which is basically all of the character sheets rearranged so that instead of fitting on two 9x6" pages, they fit on a single 8.5x11" page, for convenient printing.
