Social Combat Continued

There is an interesting topic that just started up here on the HârnForum.  I'm not familiar with Dying Earth's quick start rules, but it sounded like it might be useful to whoever was thinking about putting together similar rules for TRoS.  By the way, what ever happened to that idea any way?

Yeah, Dying Earth has a pretty nifty "social combat" system - in fact, that's the entire basis of the system. If you get into melee combat in Dying Earth, something has gone very very wrong.

It's neat, but to bring something like that into TROS would be a lot of work because Dying Earth's entire system is based around it, it's not just a subsystem.

The Dying Earth system is quite interesting, and as far as i can tell, works very well.

Is there a compiled alpha version for the Social Combat rules anywhere?
