Next wednesday, chargen should be completed in my Riddle of Steel game(The game was unfortunately delayed when I lost my book.)

Two characters are -very near- complete, with the thid players starting from scratch.

After the third players works out his character, I wanted to take ten-twenty minutes or so "polish" character designs, make sure they're as complete as the players are able to make them. A big factor of this part is the Spiritual Attribuites. I figured we'd probably replace one or two for all players so that they gel incredibly wlel.

What Spiritual Attribuites have worked extremely well for people, and what would be some basic conceptual tips on optimizing them for Narrativist purposes?

I normally would think that a common group-wide SA would be a 'drive', a higher calling if you would..
That seems to add alot of cohesion to the party, and something that every character will have firing at the same exact time as the others..

Another hypothetical example.
Players 1 and 2 share a common passion, players 3 and 4 share a common faith, 1 and 4 share a similar conscience(though that one is difficult to explain) and players 2 and 3 share perhaps a similar destiny.
But, the point is, if you cross-link like that.. all of the players share one SA with each other, and all players share 2 more SA's with 2 more people out of the group. It's like glue, man.

Though you can opt not to do this, as it leaves each character with only two SA's to be unique for themselves.. etc etc. I think it's interesting and worth testing though. You don't HAVE to do it that way.. if you don't want the groupwide SA, throw it out.. if you want it but dont want the rest.. etc.
There are many different combinations of that example to be had.

As far as optimizing, *shrug*.
