The original Universalis Arena game ran out of steam.  Currently we're working on planning out the framework for the next game-- the last wasn't a failure by any means, other than a steadily decreasing player count.  We're planning a format to make jumping in the during the middle of the game easy, so you don't have to follow dozens of threads of story.  Two wiki pages where we're discussing the issue are Lost Momentum, and Increasing Momentum.

We're also discussing the "color" and rules of the setting-- will it be futuristic, a clash of cosmologies, tabloid weirdness, or something that you come up with?  We're discussing this stuff in this thread: Shard Ideas.

If you've been looking for an online Universalis game, now is a great time to get involved.  We're handling some things now that often don't get addressed until the tenet phase, so get your input in early.

just to note that the new Universalis Arena now has a new WikiGroup on the Anvilwerks wiki: http://www.anvilwerks.com/index.php/TUA2/

all of the current discussion has been mirrored over and is listed on the TUA2 HomePage, all of the old stuff remains at the old address

currently, the plan is to have framework tenets describing the overall structure (e.g. a starship visiting new planets), and running a new "Shard" with its own tenets each month (e.g. a visit to a particular planet)

this way we have some kind of overall structure, but also an easy entry point for new players (the idea is that there will be low/no overhead in terms of backstory)

at the moment I would describe it as a new game of Uni each month, but the exact details of whether Coins carry over, which particular structure links the Shards, etc are still being discussed

if you have any ideas, we're still game framing, so drop in!

See this page for the current situation on TUA2.  Hopefully things are nearing the gel-point.

Whoa, take a little time off to help your wife with a newborn, and look what happens. New Wiki? Cool.

Tenet phase begins Midnight Wednesday Night (server time, which seems to be PST or close to it).  Wander by; there's been a lot of discussion, but essentially everything's going to be decided in the Tenet phase. There's still a lot of room around our virtual table top-- join us.
