Heh, well, I was bored and sitting in the lobby in OpenRPG, since I dropped out of two lame DnD games. (for the love of god, if I see annother troll/gobbo/orc-infested sewer, I'll kill the DM or snap or something...) Heh, ok, well, then some crazy people were there and said "Hi" and turned out to be Teenages From Outer Space...... o_o

Ok, then Rattlehead hopped in and mentioned TROS (not to be confused with TfOS..... o_o ) and I was bored so I looked through the system and stuff... saw the rolls were laid in the stone as Shadowrun (which I love) and a different mortar. All right, well... Rattlehead told me to come here... Heh.

Basically, well, any of you play on OpenRPG? I'd like to learn the system and stuff. (Could probably bring 2-5 other people too.)

Ah yes, also this game will keep me from ranting "HOW THE HELL DID THAT HALFLING SURVIVE! I JUST HIT HIM IN THE CHEST WITH AN AXE BIGGER THAN HIM!!!... AND HE'S ONLY WEARING LEATHER!" heh... of course I normally negate the rules whenever I fight using my brain anyways...

Wolfen (a regular on these boards) introduced me to the OpenRPG program, and I don't believe he's the only TROS-er that knows about it.  Neither he nor I play on it regularly, but it wouldn't be out of the question to think that it might be possible to set up a short (a few sessions long, at most) introduction of the game.  I have no idea how to set up an OpenRPG character sheet for a game like TROS, though.

I've just found this site and it looks very easy to use, and quite promising.

Heh. Well, if you want to get a game going >_> just message me or something. I should pick up this system (very) fast, since the rolling and many of the rules are a lot like some games I used to play. Heh, a lot like Shadowrun with the house rules we used to use. Did I mention that?... ah...

Btw, how often do chars tend to die in this game?...
