MOUNTED COMBAT.
1. Rider, roll AG/Ride skill to see if the combat round only last one exchange.
2. Use the horses CP and use the Ride skill for attacks by the horse.
Charging attacks is always counted as being on “Red”.
3. Defending attack on the horse is only possible, by making the horse do a partial evade. Using the mounts CP.
4. A mounted person can only block with his shield on his “shield” side, and can only parry with his weapon on his “weapon” side. If not using shield, then he can parry on both sides.
It’s not possible to make a full evade while riding a horse, unless you want to jump off.
5. When a mounted warrior charge with a very long weapon like a long spear or lance, and the opponent don’t have a weapon of the same length. Then he gets a PRIVILEGED ATTACK, this is combined with a successful AG/Ride check to get the combat round to one exchange. A very lethal combo.
6. When a mounted person makes a frontal charge, then the horse can’t make any evades.
If the rider has a weapon designed for mounted charges, like a Long spear or Lance, then the person on foot, in front of the horse, can’t attack the horse, before he have done at least one exchange of combat with the mounts rider.
If the person on the ground has a weapon with same reach as the rider, like a pike or long spear, he can ignore this, and choose freely to attack either the rider or the mount.
----------------------------
PRIVILEGED ATTACK:
A person doing a privileged attack don’t have to worry about there opponents suddenly attacking back in the first exchange, because a person doing a privileged attack ALWAYS has the initiative in the first exchange and his opponent can’t buy it back.
When victim of a privileged attack, the victim are ALWAYS are the Defender i.e. being “white” in this one exchange. It’s possible for the defender to choose to attack as his defense as in a normal combat, but it’s not a wise thing to do, considering you can’t buy the initiative, and therefore automatically attack last.
Privileged attacks are as a rule only possible when using a weapon with superior length and somehow have prepared the attack, like charging with a lance or lowered you pike in a combat stance.

Small addition:
--------------------
Infantry vs. cavalry and privileged attacks.
Infantry with weapons suitable for making privileged attacks can also defend against cavalry, using there length advantage in the same way. They just work in a more non-active way, by simply negating the privileged attack that lance and long spear cavalry has.
