Personally, I think that's a brilliant idea... if I were GMing, I definitely give it a run.

The GM however is not so sanguine about that level of player control -- call him a Sim/Narr switch hitter -- Sim GM, Narr player.

Still, we've found a pretty happy medium using Fate, which has enough in common with Trollbabe (rerolls) and Sorcerer (conflict resolution) that I'm feeling pretty good about the whole thing.
