Last session, we suffered our first PC injury, two light wounds (Lvl 1 and Lvl 2).

Since then I've been thinking about healing times. Both wounds are mostly cosmetic - they were painful, but blood loss was 0 and 1, respectively, so they can't have been deep.
Rolling once per week of rest just doesn't sound right to me.

So I've come up with this simple house rule:

For every day of full rest, add a mark to the wound, much like you do with skills used. When you have made as many marks as the wound level is, you get to roll.

This leaves healing at almost the same speed as the book for serious wounds, while allowing light wounds to heal much faster. As a partial offset, I do judge "full rest" to really mean you spent the day in bed, with adequate food and water.

Sounds good for game. Wounds and such are so complicated IRL that it is almost impossible to make a realistic rule set about them (someone gets shot in the head and can walk home from hospital the same day, another gets stabbed in the chest by a fork and dies).

The path of the warrior is covered in blood. Most of it will be yours so you better have alot of it.
