today I stumbled into the new GO message board, where it looks like the archives of old posts have been restored...

the uri is not permanent, it seems like it will change to just gamingoutpost.com/discussions sometime soonish

(ie, links made to the newmedia domain should be considered temporary)

old links to circa 2001 messages currently return a "this message is stored elsewhere" page, with a link to the restored message on the newmediaone domain

I was just going to add a note to this effect over on the thread in Contacts that mentioned this. However, you seem to have covered it fairly well.
