Which are the HQ products?

Is there any way to tell which of the products found on HeroQuest website were written explicitly for HeroQuest (as opposed to being written for HeroWars)?

Is there any significant difference (between HQ and HW products) for someone who isn't familiar with the HeroWars ruleset (but is reasonably familiar with Glorantha via playing in and running several RuneQuest campaigns in the pre-Avalon Hill days)?

Thanks,

The Hero Wars products with Conversion Notes on Issaries' website weren't written explicitly for HeroQuest, but when you see how short the notes are, you'll realise how easy the conversion is. Other than the core Hero Wars rulebooks, these include:
    Anaxial's Roster
    Thunder Rebels
Storm Tribe - the Cults of Sartar
Sartar Rising vol.1 - Barbarian Adventures
Sartar Rising vol.2 - Orlanth is Dead!
[/list:u]In addition, the book Glorantha: Introduction to the Hero Wars contains no game mechanics for any system. (That said, a reworked version for HeroQuest is due out later this year).

The following products were written for HeroQuest:
Imperial Lunar Handbook vol.1 - The Lunar Empire
      HeroQuest - Roleplaying in Glorantha
      Hero's Book - Playing HeroQuest
      Masters of Luck and Death
Dragon Pass - Land of Thunder
Sartar Rising vol.3 - Gathering Thunder

AFAIK, the following were released after the main HeroQuest rules and thus intended for HQ, not HW:

      Dragon Pass
      Gathering Thunder
      Hero's Book
      Imperial Lunar Handbook
      Masters of Luck and Death

Even so, it's no major problem to use HW stats in HQ. You can also find conversion notes on the Issaries site (www.glorantha.com/support/HQConversion.html)

...and I'd add that Sons of Kargzant (http://www.celtic-webs.com/theunspokenword/books/sok.html) was written for HQ, although previous Unspoken Word books are HW-based.

      All the best
