I recently completed publication of our first project (BONES the RPG, www.lulu.com/BONES) and I wanted to commend the development team that helped me put it together quickly and for a reasonable price. They are:

Andrew Navaro-- Andrew was the artist of both the superb cover and the custom interior illustrations. He was quick, reasonable, gave good suggestions and was extremely reasonably priced. His site is www.andrewnavaro.com.

Dr. Jeff-- Jeff did the BONES Custom Die roller, a great piece of custom software that makes a smooth-playing game even smoother. He had a lot of good suggestions and, again, was extremely reasonably priced. His site is www.dimensiongames.com .

Sergeant_x did the layout, including my innumerable and no-doubt-annoying edits, promptly and cheaply. His layout is clean and looks great, (esp. in print) and he arranged the art perfectly. You can PM him on the FORGE.

RPGNow has done an awesome job of customer service with respect to the pdf marketing of the product, although the review system probably needs revamping.

LuLu.com has minimal customer service, but has a user-friendly system to set up storefronts and distribute your products in print (and in pdf if you like). I just got the print proofs, and they look good--will help me on the retail trail (wish me luck!).

I hope that this is helpful.

Special thanks to Ron and to Brett at PIG for their encouragement.

Andy
