After many private requests for a 'mechanics-only' version of Scattershot, without all the presumptuous design-speak, I have finally cobbled one together. (I bet you were wondering where I had disappeared to.)

Well this is it.  The first rough draft of "just the mechanix ma'am," ever in one place at one time.  Comments are greatly welcome, but I'd appreciate them as separate threads apart from the mechanics themselves.  (I will be continually modifying the draft as comments warrant and using its thread to track the 'version history.')

I want to thank everyone for all the encouragement and all the upcoming feedback.  I want you to know that you are all partly responsible for this coming to fruition and for that I am eternally grateful.
