I've just moved to Minnesota (near The Cities) and for a few months I've been finding MN-based Forge readers. I've just formed a Yahoo group -- indiemn for discussing opportunities for actual play of indie (preferentially, anyway) RPGs. There are at least four or five of us that are already in touch, but if there are more of you out there, swing on by.
