The Utah Attorney General has published an interesting PDF on modern polygamy, intended for responders to domestic abuse.

Note that on line 20 is the real crux of the matter where you could really turn this into a tragic Dogs story:

Then Leah said, "God has presented me with a precious gift. This time my husband will treat me with honor, because I have borne him six sons." So she named him Zebulun.

In my translation (JPS), it doesn't say "honor," it says "love". It's the saddest story in Torah and one that lends itself particularly well to an RPG.[/url][/list]

Someone ought to Dogsify cool biblical stories.  It'd just be a cut-and-paste job in a lot of cases...just add horses and hog-legs.
