It is now June, and I guess it is my turn to host the DC area Forge meet-up.

I would like to invite you all to my place in Chantilly VA on Saturday the 18th of June at 6:30 PM. This is the only Saturday I have free this month, I hope it works for you. Anyone who is interested can PM me for the directions.

On the Dinner Menu, I will be making my famous Crab Cake pizza and maybe a cheese pizza for the non-crab-lovers. Feel free to bring your own drinks if you don’t like Pepsi, citrus flavored Diet Pepsi, Tea, or Water.

I need some feed back on the Gaming Menu. We are running low on “new” games that can be served Tapas or small plate style [games that require little or no prep, and yet can deliver the full flavor of the game in a single session]. I have three suggestions which are not mutually exclusive.

1) We haven’t (as a group) sampled Universalis.

2) There are a number of interesting games from the Game Chef Competition. I like the idea of “The Dinner Party” because it fits into the Food theme, but there are many good choices on the Game Chef Buffet. Take a look and see what wets your appetite.

3) I know that Tony is working on a new game, I am working on one, and I believe that Vaxalon/Fred has one. We could have a few mini play tests (30 minutes to an hour) and finish the night with something light.

Does this appeal to you, or do you have an alternative suggestion?

I am, indeed, getting Misery Bubblegum to the point where it could use some fast playtesting.  So I'm firmly in favor of that third option for purely selfish reasons.

I'm in favor of (1), (3), and crab pizza (dude!).
