Hey Matt,

    I notice in the update for PTA Revised that it looks like you have "depowered" the game a bit.

Examples: 
  • Players now have 3 Edges/Connections rather than 5 Edges/Connections.
  • The Producer now gets about a third less production to spend.

I am curious as to why this change was made?

Hey Brandon:

Regarding the trait reduction: I got pretty consistent reports that 5 traits was overkill.

Regarding budget, it's actually not that different in most cases. It's mainly to keep budget from skyrocketing disproportionately when the protagonists all have high screen presence.

If you have 3 protagonists with 1,2,3:

Old method is 18 budget.

New method is 15 budget.

If you have 4 protagonists each at 1:

Old method is 12 budget.

New method is 11 budget.

If you have 3 protagonists at 2, 2, 3:

Old method is 21.

New method is 17.
