Running my own con.

Good day all,
Some time late next year I am hoping to run a convention funded by my company Ink Blot Publishing in Albany New York or some place close to it. Now my big problem is that I am not all to sure how to run a convention so I was wondering is any one can point me in the direction of any good articles, or if there are non give me a little advice. Well I must be on my way any help would be greatly appreciated.
