Okay, quick heads up for all publishers!

I'm Tony, I'm responsible for the booth.  They always give us great booth space, so layout and such are not the problems here.  But ... you knew there would be a "but", right?  But, the booth has classically been grievously undermanned.  Which, on some levels ... y'know, that's fine.  I live for the booth, so I spend my time there, other people live to run games and that's where they spend their time, and it's not as if we aren't moving product.

So before I start going all crazy-active about drafting people to man the booth and organizing us to know and pitch each other's games, I'm hoping to run a quick survey NOT ON THIS THREAD.  Don't respond to this matter on this thread.  Seriously.  There's no need to clutter.  What ya do is this:

  • If selling is a low priority for you ... like, you'd be fine with the convention if you sold no copies, so long as you get to run games, play games and chat, then PM me and tell me that.
  • If selling is a high priority for you ... like, you're interested in actively pursuing and honing your sales techniques, and figuring out more together about how to do this side of the business, then PM me and tell me that.
  • If I do not receive a PM from you then I will assume that you are in the vast middle ground of people who like money, and will do what they can toward getting some, but who don't want to spend brain-sweat working out the how and why.

When I know what sort of group we're dealing with, I'll be able to judge how much organization is useful, and (if needed) I'll spawn some more robust discussion.

Thank you very much!

So, game submissions end today. Is the most recent schedule finalized, Mike?

Yeah, final schedule is at http://incarnadine.indie-rpgs.com/draft06.html with details at http://incarnadine.indie-rpgs.com/d06schedule.html. I sent the stuff to Vinnie about 3 weeks ago, so it should all be good.

Cool. I noticed that the info page has a small error -- the description for Rob's DitV session is actually for mine.

Well, I've looked at my schedule for the con, and I won't be able to make the Friday night midnight to 4 a.m. time slot. Have fun, though, and be sure to post an Actual Play.
