I'm interested in setting up an in-person writing group focusing on rpgs. The goal would be to hold monthly meetings in the L.A. area to provide feedback on game drafts, discuss new ideas, etc.

I realize it's slightly odd to be seeking face-to-face meetings when there's such a wealth of talented commentators available 24-7 on the indie game design forum. I hope to post there more consistently this year. But regularly-scheduled in person discussion has its own benefits and meshes well with my writing habits.

If you live in the Los Angeles region, are working on a game and could benefit from regular feedback, and enjoy commenting on games-in-progress, send me a message or email me at markvalli at earthlink.net

Howdy, Mark!

That sounds like an intriguing proposition, and one that I'd be interested in participating in.

It also sounds like something that could fall under the umbrella of a NerdSoCal.com, the project that I really want to start up but I'm holding out for one more partner to share responsibilities with.

Hey folks,

As Mark requested, contact him privately via PM or email.

Thanks,
