Introduce your game

I'm going to take my own advice and do my part to get more developing games noticed on the Forge. Basically, it comes down to this: many people who would otherwise find at least one of these games interesting do not have the time to read through every thread on this forum to find it. This thread is meant to be something of a shortcut to help people find and focus on the games they'd be interested in playing someday. Essentially, this thread is for making people aware of your game and getting them excited about your developments. It is in no way supposed to replace starting your own thread about your game to discuss it more thoroughly. In that regard, these are the things I'd like to know about your game:
1. The name (link to thread or website if possible)
2. What play experience do you want your game to facilitate?
3. What are the basic mechanical elements of your game? How do they facilitate or enhance the play experience you want for the game?
4. What are some key issues or problems you are having with this game?
5. What are some interesting elements of your game not described above?

Heya, do you mean:
1) Post your ideas in this format to This Very Thred Right Here, or do you mean
2) Take this template and post it into your game thread so that I can understand what you're talking about with minimum work?
I think 1 will attract a lot of "unfinished, but I'd like to talk about my game" entries (in the "Let me tell you about my character" way), but 2 is fucking spot on useful, I think.
Not to go all meta-thread on you or anything. Just looking to clarify. (^.^)

Ideally, designers would do both. However, I see your point about a lot of "noise" on the thread. Perhaps I could ammend or add to my post to clarify that it's for people who are actually developing their ideas into games, not for "I have a few scattered ideas" posts. Given the context clues, people can't post scatterbrained snippets of information if they are to stay on topic.

This might become a sticky, or incorporated into an existing or upcoming one.
No more posting to it at present, though.
Thanks,
Ron
