In the past we have celebrated and given tribute to those who have made an impact in the gaming industry. Guests such as Eden Studios and Privateer Press have been honored with an award of excellence and hard work in the RPG and War gaming fields.

I-CON has been honored with the presence of some of the brightest minds in Indie gaming over the past 4 years, and now it is time to honor these men and women with an award of achievement to reward them for all the hard work they have put into bringing us these wonderful games.

I-CON 25 is proud to present to one these fabulous people the 1st I-CON indie game designer award. Below is a list of this years contenders and since it would be difficult to give each an award or choose amongst ourselves who deserves it, we will let the fans and peers decide for us.

Clinton R. Nixon (The Shadow of Yesterday, Inside, Paladin, and Donjon)
Luke Crane (Burning Wheel)
Jared A. Sorensen (OctaNe & Inspectres)
Tony Lower-Basch (Capes)
Nathan Paoletta (Timestream)
Slugfest Games (Red Dragon Inn, Kung Fu Fighting)
