A dude named
Ken Hollings
is making a series of podcasts called
Welcome to Mars
about the history of the 20th century through the eyes of science fiction.
I've been listening to these for weeks and it just now occurred to me to let other folks in on the secret.
It's great stuff. The soundtrack is original analog synth music and occasional soundwarped radio ads contemporary to the subject being discussed.
